According to a recent report by Portugal's "Notice Daily", the windy weather in 2013 made the country's wind power generation hit a record high. According to the data released by the National Grid Corporation of Portugal, from January to May this year, Portugal's wind power accounted for 27% of the country's total power generation. According to the geographical range, the wind power generation in the Viseu district ranks first in Portugal (934 MW), about 934 megawatts. One-fifth of the total, followed by Coimbra (599 MW) and Ciudad Real (589 MW).
