The TP play a crucial role as intermediary components in the wind turbine, connecting the monopile foundation to the wind turbine tower. Usually, the TP are connected by using either flanges or a grouted connection. The design and integrity of the TP are crucial to ensuring the stability and longevity of wind turbine structures. Due to the harsh marine environment, the TP must withstand significant forces from waves, currents, and wind, as well as potential impacts from floating debris.
